North sweeps Terre Haute South in boys tennis

September 17, 2025 - The Columbus North boys tennis team improved to 9-3 overall and 2-1 in Conference Indiana play with a 5-0 victory over Terre Haute South on Tuesday afternoon. The match was played at Greencastle High School to cut travel time for each school. Alek Devidze got the match started with a quick 6-0, 6-1 victory in his one singles match. Jace Branham finished soon behind with a 6-2, 6-1 victory at number three singles, followed by the conclusion of a 6-0, 6-0 sweep by Max Wei at two singles. The doubles teams completed the Bull Dog sweep as Luca Devidze and Jaishal Padmanabhan teamed up for the two doubles match and won 6-1, 6-2. Teddy Littrell and Vince Sasse closed the match with a 6-3, 6-4 victory at one doubles. The Dogs will host Bloomington South in another Conference Indiana matchup this afternoon (September 17), beginning at 6:00 pm.
