September 13, 2025 - Senior tight end caught twelve passes for 174 yards and two touchdowns, but miscues in all three phrases of the game cost the Bull Dogs a 41-20 loss at Roncalli on Friday night. Turnovers, penalties, and missed assignments plagued North throughout the night as the Dogs allowed the Royals 21 points in the first quarter and 20 in the third to record their first loss of the season. Asher Ratliff was 27-for-43 through the air for 300 yards and two touchdowns, but a pair of costly interceptions, including one in the red zone and one returned for a touchdown by the Royals, hurt the Bull Dogs chances for a comeback. Ezekiel Scruggs recorded 15 carries for 53 yards to lead the Bull Dogs in rushing, while Morgan Knapp and Cohen Long had six and five receptions, respectively. The road does not get easier for the Bull Dogs as they will travel to Carmel High School next Friday (September 19). North will host both sub-varsity contests on Saturday, September 20.
