September 6, 2025 - No Bull Dog quarterback has thrown for more yards in a game than Asher Ratliff’s 395 yard performance last week at Columbus East. Last night against Southport, Ratliff etched his name in the record book in a second category. He was 16-for-21 for 341 yards and threw a program record six touchdown passes. He added a rushing touchdown as well to help the Bull Dogs open Conference Indiana play 1-0. Parker Elmore was the target of three of Ratliff’s touchdown passes, and Morgan Knapp added a pair of receiving touchdowns as the Bull Dogs outgained Southport 439-104. Ezekiel Scruggs rushed seven times for 51 yards to lead North’s rushing attack. The Bull Dog defense continued to dominate as well, allowing only 36 yards on twelve completions. The Dogs have allowed only 14 points in three games so far this season. The Bull Dogs won both Saturday games as well, with the JV winning at Southport 44-0, and the freshmen beating Lawrence Central at home 28-22. Next up for the Bull Dogs will be a road trip to Roncalli on Friday, September 12, beginning at 7:00 pm.
