Boys tennis earns road victory at Whiteland

September 5, 2025 - The head coaches from Columbus North and Whiteland agreed to play a seven-match varsity contest on Thursday evening rather than the traditional five-match format. The Bull Dogs beat the Warriors 5-2 to improve to 4-2 for the season. The Bull Dogs took all five of the traditional matches, with Whiteland winning both of the extra matches, each of which were doubles matches. Match results were as follows: 1S Alek Devidze W 6-3, 6-0 2S Max Wei W 6-1, 6-4 3S Jace Branham W 6-2, 6-4 1D Teddy Littrell/Vince Sasse W 7-6, 6-0 2D Jaishal Padmanabhan/Harshil Gandhi W 6-1, 6-4 3D Tomas Gaggiano/Ricardo Guillardi Prata L 7-6, 1-6, 4-10 4D Niranjan Pillai/Andrew Huang L3-6, 4-6 The Bull Dogs will travel to Franklin Community on Tuesday, September 9 for a 5:00 match with the Grizzly Cubs.
