September 5, 2025 - In a battle of top-20 teams, Columbus North and Cathedral boys soccer scrapped to a 0-0 draw at Grand Park on Thursday evening. Each team put four shots on target, with the Bull Dogs out-shooting the 16th-ranked Irish 9-8. Nicolas De Linan Palacios kept goal for 80 minutes and recorded four saves. The Irish won the early match 3-1 as the Bull Dogs JV dropped to 3-2 for the season. 19th-ranked Columbus North (3-2-2) will host 20th-ranked North Central on Saturday afternoon at the BCSC Soccer Complex. JV is scheduled to begin at noon with varsity to follow.
