North collects two top-ten finishes at girls State track and field meet

June 9, 2025 - Junior Carys Glyn-Jones earned a fifth place finish in the 800m (2:12.43) and Emerson Chambers was eighth in the 100m hurdles (14.87) as the Bull Dogs tied for 37th place at the State track and field meet on Saturday, June 7. Glyn-Jones teamed with Kyleigh Wolf, Macy Eaton, and Hazel Sasse for a 19th place finish in the 4x800m relay. Two other relays also competed at the state meet, including the 4x100m relay (Lily Miller, Chambers, Sierra Newell, and Avery Johnson), who finished 24th, and the 4x400m relay (Grace Bethuram, Lexi Denny, Reese Peeples, and Natalie Rohm), who was 22nd. The Bull Dogs also had three field events represented at State, including Sydni Schiefer (17th in the shot put), Newell (20th in the pole vault), and Emma Haston in the high jump.
