Dogs earn a pair of top-three finishes at boys State track and field meet

June 9, 2025 - Junior Bull Dog Jace Works was second in the 800m (1:52.81) and teamed with Graham Pumphrey, Neal White, and Logan Vanzant to earn a third place finish at the State track and field meet on Friday, June 6. White finished twelfth in the 3200m (4:22.82), and Pumphrey was 19th in the 1600m (4:22.82) in addition to their relay finish. Also competing for the Bull Dogs was Owen Russell, who finished 23rd in the 110m hurdles (15.12) and 21st in the 300m hurdles (40.11). North’s 15 team points earned them a tie for 17th place with Center Grove. Lawrence North won the team title with 47 points, followed by Bloomington North (45) and Merrillville (40).
