April 29, 2025 - Columbus North boys volleyball recognized the program’s first senior class in a brief ceremony prior to the start of a 3-1 match victory over Warren Central on Monday evening (April 28). Dogs won the first set 25-16 before falling 23-25 in set two. North then rallied to take the final two sets 25-20 and 25-21 to close out the match. Statistical leaders for the Bull Dogs included Service Aces: Leo Iorio, Yoki Murabayashi, and Parth Shah, all with three. Kills: Iorio and Yuta Kondo (12) Blocks: JJ Salcedo (4), Noah Dornfeld (3) Assists: Kota Kondo (24), Ramu Alagappan (9) Digs: Iorio (10), Shah (7) Seven seniors were recognized, including Parth Shah, Sam Gupta, Kota Kondo, Yoki Murabayashi, Vitor Doi, Hank Lin, and JJ Salcedo. Warren Central did not have a JV team to play an early match. North will travel to New Albany for a JV/varsity doubleheader this evening, beginning at 6:00 pm.
