Cross-town track and field belongs to the Bull Dogs

April 25, 2025 - A lengthy lightning delay that interrupted the Columbus North versus Columbus East track and field after just a few events, but once the competition got started, the Bull Dogs rolled to victories in both the boys and girls divisions. The North girls prevailed 114-18 and the boys won 79-53. The Dogs posted a number of personal-best performances in their victories over the Olympians. Event winners for the Bull Dogs in the girls division included 4x800m relay (Macy Eaton, Katie Frazier, Emma Glyn-Jones, Kyleigh Wolf) - 1st 100m hurdles (Emerson Chambers) - 1st 100m (Chambers) - 1st 1600m (Emma Lowther) - 1st 4x100m Relay (Avery Johnson, Sierra Newell, Chambers, Lily Miller) - 1st 400m (Carys Glyn-Jones) - 1st 300m hurdles (Lily Miller ) - 2nd 800m (C. Glyn-Jones) - 1st 200m (Chambers) - 1st 3200m (Wolf) - 1st 4x400m Relay (C. Photo: Owen Russell won two individual events and was part of two winning relay teams as the Bull Dogs beat Columbus North in boys track and field. North also won the girls division of the meet.
