Boys volleyball drops road match at Floyd Central

April 23, 2025 - The Columbus North boys volleyball program traveled south to Floyd Central for a non-conference matchup with the Highlanders and fell in straight sets, 22-25, 14-25, 18-25. Yoki Murabayashi (shown) had a pair of service aces for the Bull Dogs, and junior Leo Iorio had nine kills and one block. Kota Kondo had 16 assists and Yuta Kondo led North in digs with 14 for the match. In the JV match, the Bull Dogs improved to 6-8 for the season with a 2-1 victory over Floyd Central. The Bull Dogs will host Martinsville on Thursday in a varsity-only match, beginning at 6:00 pm.
