April 22, 2025 - Injuries, illness, and scheduling conflicts have forced head girls tennis coach Kendal Hammel to use a number of different lineups this season. Whatever formula he is using seems to be working as the Dogs improved to 5-0 for the season with a 5-0 victory at Bloomington North on Monday evening. Aya Saad rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one singles, and Annabelle Sun and Nino Akalaya did the same at number one doubles. Lucy Bergman closed out her number two singles match with a 6-2, 6-0 victory to put the Dogs up 3-0. Grace Conner and Lizzie Bodart paired up at number two doubles and won 6-2, 6-2, before Molly Richards completed the sweep of the Cougars with a 6-2, 7-6(2) victory at number three singles. North will host Southport on Tuesday evening (April 22), beginning at 5:30 pm.
