Tennis stays perfect with road victory over Jeffersonville

April 21, 2025 - Saturday saw lots of rain in central Indiana, but skies were dry in Jeffersonville for the Bull Dogs tennis team as they rolled to a 4-1 victory over the Red Devils, improving to 4-0 on the season. Aya Saad got the match started with an easy 6-0, 6-0 victory at one singles. The two doubles team of Lizzie Bodart and Grace Conner finished next, earning a 6-0, 6-2 victory. Lucy Bergman then won her two singles match 6-2, 6-2, followed by Molly Richards’ 6-0, 7-6(3) victory at three singles. The Red Devils got their only team point as the Bull Dogs’ number one doubles team of Annabelle Sun and Nino Akalaya fell 4-6, 6-7(11). The Dogs will travel to Bloomington North this afternoon (April 21) for a Conference Indiana matchup, beginning at 6:00 pm.
