April 17, 2025 - Center Grove beat Columbus North 3-0 in boys volleyball action on Wednesday evening, 25-21, 25-16, 25-14. Columbus North, in its first season as an IHSAA sanctioned sport, fell to 5-12. Senior Koda Kondo led the Bull Dogs in service aces (3) and assists (18) for the match. Leo Iorio had nine kills and two blocks, and Yuta Kondo added six kills and ten digs. JJ Salcedo and Anyu Gong each had two blocks for North. The JV team fell to 5-7 after a 25-21, 25-14 straight set loss to the Trojans in the early game. Ramu Alagappan had ten assists and Ethan Santos recorded eight digs in the defeat. The Bull Dogs will host Franklin Central on Monday, April 21. The JV match is scheduled to begin at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
