Columbus North High School

October 12, 2026 - The Bull Dogs fell in a 28-0 hole at halftime at Class 4A top-ranked East Central and despite gaining some traction in the second half, they weren’t able to overcome the deficit, falling 35-13 on Friday evening at East Central. North had a balanced offensive attack, gaining 75 yards on the ground and 92 through the air, but the Trojans’ 342 was too much to overcome. Max Wilson was 7-for-17 through the air, including a touchdown to Davonte Degraffenreid, and Wilson and Ashton Schwartz each rushed for 38 yards. East Central won the sub-varsity game 39-6 Saturday morning. Columbus North (3-5) will host Jasper (5-3) at 7:00 pm on Friday, October 16. The Dogs will recognize the program’s seniors prior to the start of the game.
