September 30, 2026 - Bull Dog girls soccer finished the regular season with a 10-2-3 record after playing to a 4-4 draw at Class 2A 6th-ranked Batesville (13-1-1) Tuesday evening. After three goals apiece in the first half (North goals by Rachel Fulp (2) and Riley Sims), Evelin Lopez gave North a 4-3 lead with a goal just one minute into the second half. That lead would hold until Batesville scored on a penalty kick with just 41 seconds remaining in the match. The Dogs had one final opportunity in the finals seconds, but were denied. Fulp and Avery Baker each recorded assists, and Danika Hoehn recorded four saves in 80 minutes in goal for the Dogs. North’s JV team won the early match 2-0 to improve their record to 12-2 for the season. Columbus North will open sectional play at Whiteland on Tuesday, October 6 at 6:00 pm against Columbus East. The Bull Dogs beat the Olympians 9-0 on August 26 in their only other meeting this season. The match will be played at Break O’Day Elementary School (111 W 600N, Whiteland) rather than at Whiteland Community High School.
