September 28, 2026 - Tenth ranked Columbus North boys soccer finished 0-1-1 at the Zionsville Classic on Saturday, September 26 and are now 6-2-4 for the season. The Dogs opened with a 1-1 draw with Munster in the morning rotation. The Bull Dogs took advantage of an ‘own goal’ early in the second half, but Munster added a goal with 17 minutes to play to force the draw. Michael Larson and Jaden Andrade split time in goal for the Bull Dogs. In the afternoon match, the Bull Dogs faced 13th ranked Evansville North and were not able to overcome three first-half goals by the Huskies. Ben Wiltrout scored the Bull Dogs’ only goal early in the second half off of an assist from Parker Gribbins. Larson recorded four saves in goal for the Dogs. The JV team won both of their matches, including a 2-1 victory over Munster, and a 3-1 decision against Evansville North to improve to 5-5-1 for the season. North will travel to Southport (6-7-1) Monday afternoon for a match with the Cardinals. JV will kick off at 6:00 pm with varsity to follow. The match will be at Holder Field at Mary Bryan Elementary on E Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis.
