September 22, 2026 - The Bull Dog girls golf team finished fifth at the twelve team Bloomington North Sectional on a chilly, windy day at Cascades Golf Course with an aggregate score of 416, bringing their season to an end. Martinsville won the sectional with 343. The Bull Dogs were just one stroke short of Columbus East and Bloomington South, who finished third and fourth, respectively, with 415 team scores. Bryn Emmitt shot a team-best 99, finishing just two strokes short of advancing as an individual. Caroline Crawford carded 104, followed by Harper Andresen’s 105, Kaylan Meredith’s 108, and the 118 by Kori Vincent closed out the Bull Dog scoring. The top three teams (Martinsville 343, Bloomington North 383, and Columbus East 415) and top three individuals whose team did not advance will move on to the regional meet. Andresen and Mia Gambaiani are the program's two seniors, and all other Bull Dogs will be returning to the roster next fall.
