September 20, 2026 - North’s boys tennis team snapped a four-match losing streak with a 3-2 victory over Floyd Central on Friday afternoon, September 18. Alek Devidze started the match with a 6-1, 6-1 victory in his number one singles match. North took a 2-0 lead when Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons earned a 6-1, 6-1 victory in the one doubles match. The Highlanders got on the board with a 1-6, 3-6 victory over Vyom Desai at three singles. The Bull Dogs then clinched the team victory with a 6-4, 7-5 victory in the two doubles match (Logan Morales and Max Wei). The final match came down to the wire in the two singles match as Andrew Huang dropped a 7-5, 5-7, 8-10 decision. The Bull Dogs (5-7) will face second-ranked Carmel at UIndy on Monday, September 21, beginning at 5:30 pm.
