September 10, 2026 - After 2-0 victories in each of the sub-varsity matches at Perry Meridian Wednesday evening, the girls volleyball team completed the sweep with a 3-0 victory in the varsity match. The Dogs won the first set 25-16, set two 25-10, and the final set 25-21. Statistical leaders in the varsity match for the Bull Dogs included: Kills: Tania Maldonado 10, Izabella Rice 7 Service Aces: Lola Rose and Rice 3 Digs: Kyndal Wheeler 12 Solo Blocks: Emma Haston, Rice, Emerson Dunlap 1 each Block Assists: Lexi Denny, Maldonado, and Dunlap 2 each Assists: Denny 17 The Bull Dogs (9-5) will send their freshman squad to Trinity Lutheran on Saturday morning and the JV and freshman teams to Silver Creek on Tuesday, September 15. Silver Creek has canceled the varsity match due to scheduling issues on their end. North’s athletic office will continue to search for a replacement match for the varsity that evening. If one can not be found, the varsity team will next be in action on Thursday, September 17 when all three levels will host Jennings County.
