September 6, 2026 - Columbus North boys cross country placed three runners in the top ten individuals among 196 participants to dominate the team scoring with just 52 points. Yorktown finished second with 98, followed by Milford with 154 in the 19-team event. Justin Reckers was third overall in 15:28.20, followed by Joseph Day in eighth (15:43.80) and Graham Pumphrey in tenth (15:50.20). Other Bull Dog results included Rohan Norris (10th), Jackson Lowther (27th), Garrett Parfetto (29th), Jackson Schneider (33rd) and Jonathan Hatton (48th). In the girls division, Kodi Smith finished 14th overall (19:13.80), Adira Sluder 21st (19:29.80), and Sydney Madden was 23rd (19:31.00) to help the Bull Dogs to a third place team finish with 105 team points, behind Floyd Central (70) and Milford (87). Other North athletes in the 196 runner field included Emma Lowther (29th), Reece Peeples (43rd), Hazel Sasse (56th), Abi Megel (58th, and Tristan Works (66th). The boys JV team won the team title in the Reserve division with 37 points. Zaid Warsi won the 349 person race. The JV girls were second to Westfield in their Reserve division with Anniston Spartz finishing second overall for the JV girls. Both teams will participate in the Forest Park Cross Country Festival on Saturday, September 12 at 8:00 am.
