August 29, 2026 - In front of a huge crowd at Max Andress Field, the Columbus North varsity football team scored 28 points in the second half to upend the visiting Columbus East Olympians 42-14 and earn their six consecutive victory, and tenth in eleven years, in the cross-town rivalry game. Senior Max Wilson was 16-for-29 for 195 yards and fourth touchdowns through the air to lead the Dogs’ passing attack. Cohen Long caught eleven of those passes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. Ashton Schwartz had 13 carries for 77 yards and a touchdown to lead the running game. The Bull Dogs defense held the Olympians to 211 total yards and forced six turnovers. The JV and 9th grade teams will play a double header at Columbus East beginning at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 29.
