August 27, 2026 - Following a 6-0 shut out victory by Columbus North in the abbreviated JV match, the Bull Dog varsity team beat the Olympians 9-0 to improve to 4-0 for the season. Riley Sims had three goals and three assists to lead the Dogs to their fourth lopsided victory to begin the season. Evelin Lopez added a pair of goals and the Dogs got one goal each from Grace Merritt, Avery Baker, Alannah Johnson, and Rachel Fulp. In addition to Sims’ three assists, Baker had two, Fulp had two, and Grace Bethuram added one for the Bull Dogs. Danika Hoehn and Kori Jones split time in goal and combined for a clean sheet. Six different Dogs scored for the JV squad as Delila Priest Owens, Nora Selking, Ariana Jaimes Gill, Pietra de Souza, and Jacklyn Bunch all recorded goals to help the team improve to 4-0 for the season. The girls will host Floyd Central on Saturday, August 29 for a non-conference matchup at the BCSC Soccer complex. JV will kick off at noon, with varsity to follow around 1:30.
