August 26, 2026 - The girls volleyball team dropped to 6-3 for the season after a 3-1 loss to Trinity Lutheran in Memorial Gymnasium on Tuesday evening. The Dogs took the first set 25-23, but dropped the final three (22-25, 9-25, 17-25) to lose the match. Trinity also swept the two early matches (2-0 in the freshmen match, and 2-1 in the JV contest). Tania Maldonado had eleven kills and Izabella Rice added ten to lead the Dogs at the offensive net. Lexi Denny had three service aces and 28 assists to top North in both categories. Kyndal Wheeler had 17 digs in the back row for the Bull Dogs, and Sophie Rohls and Sydni Schiefer each had four blocks at the net for North’s defense. The Bull Dogs will host perennial powerhouse Roncalli on Thursday evening with the 9th grade and JV matches set to begin at 6:00 pm.
