August 19, 2026 - Columbus North boys tennis earned victories at number one singles and number two doubles, but fell short in the other three matches at Seymour Tuesday evening, dropping a 3-2 decision to the Owls. Alek Devidze cruised to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number one singles, but the Dogs dropped the next three matches (Ricardo Prata L at three singles 3-6, 3-6, Max Wei L at number two singles 3-6, 2-6, and the number one doubles team of Luca Devidze and Cale Fitzsimmons L 3-6, 7-5, 2-6). The number two doubles team of Logan Morales and Andrew Huang battled to a 6-3, 5-7, 6-1 victory to close the match. The Bull Dogs (0-2) will try to notch their season’s first victory when they host Greenfield Central at 5:30 pm on Thursday, August 20.
