May 22, 2026 - A 3-2 victory over Greensburg gave the Columbus North girls tennis team their 41st sectional title, and 12th in a row. The Dogs secured the team victory after just three matches, and Greensburg took the last two in tiebreaker fashion. Match results in order of finish included 1S: Valeria Cortes W 6-1, 6-0 1D: Nino Akhalaya/Isa Pan W 6-4, 6-3 2S: Lucy Bergman W 6-4, 6-1 3S: Molly Richards L 3-6, 6-4, 7-10 2D: Dhish Vudathaneni/Grace Merritt L 3-6, 6-2, 8-10 The Dogs will play in the Bedford North Lawrence Regional beginning on Tuesday, May 26.
