May 22, 2026 - Columbus North boys track and field accumulated 149 team points to distance themselves from Jennings County (111) and Columbus East (110) and win the Columbus North Sectional on Thursday evening. Top finishers for the Bull Dogs and all North athletes who qualified for next week’s regional meet by finishing in the top three included: 4x800m relay - 1st 100m: Davonte Degraffenreid - 1st 110m hurdles: Connor Fox - 5th 200m: Gerald Peraltasandoval - 3rd 1600m: Justin Reckers - 1st, Graham Pumphrey - 2nd 4x100m relay - 2nd 400m: Aiden Hayes - 3rd 300m hurdles: Zayne Andrews - 6th 800m: Jace Works - 1st 3200m: Denton Sluder - 1st, Joseph Day - 2nd 4x400m relay - 2nd High Jump: Tucker Tucker - 5th Pole Vault: Ethan Lovell - 1st Long jump: Tower - 6th Discus: Wyatt Harris - 7th Shot put - Harris - 4th The Bloomington South Regional will be held on Thursday, May 28, beginning at 6:00 pm.
