April 26, 2026 - Columbus North girls tennis finished third at the Park Tudor Invitational against a field that showcased a number of ranked programs. The invitational used a unique scoring system in which teams receive team points based on the finish of each individual player in a bracket among similar position players. The Dogs finished fifth in the one-singles tournament, second in the two singles bracket, fifth in the three singles bracket, second among all one doubles teams, and seventh in the two doubles bracket, for a total of 13 team points. Host Park Tudor won the tournament with 24 team points, followed by Jasper with 16, Columbus North (13), Brownsburg (12), Fishers (10), Penn (8), University (8), and Hamilton Southeastern (4). Individual records for the Bull Dogs at the invitational included 1S: Valeria Cortes 2-1 2S: Lucy Bergman 2-1 3S: Molly Richards 1-2 1D: Nino Akhalaya/Isa Pan 2-1 2D: Dhish Vudathaneni/Grace Ning 1-2 Tuesday’s match with East Central has been canceled, so the Dogs will next be on the court at the Avon Invitational on Saturday, May 2.
