Boys volleyball takes down the Artesians in straight sets

April 24, 2026 - Columbus North boys volleyball has now won three matches in a row after a 3-0 (25-23, 25-17, 25-23) varsity sweep at Martinsville Thursday evening. The JV team improved to 7-7 with a 2-1 victory over the Artesians in the early match. Gian Alvarez topped the Bull Dogs with six service aces and 39 assists. Leo Iorio had 17 kills to lead the Dogs to go along with six digs. Justin Lopez recorded a dozen kills, and Noah Dornfeld chipped in eight kills and three blocks. Jake Roeder had five block assists and Sawyer Patterson added five blocks in the victory. The Dogs will be back on the court at Warren Central for a JV-varsity doubleheader on Monday, April 27 at 6:00 pm.
