North volleyball falls in five sets to visiting Center Grove

April 16, 2026 - After building a 2-0 (25-18, 25-23) lead over Center Grove, the Bull Dogs boys volleyball team felt pretty good about their likelihood of victory. Center Grove had other ideas. They rallied to take the final three sets (14-25, 27-29, 13-15) and a 3-2 victory. Center Grove swept the JV match 2-0. Leo Iorio led the Dogs with 22 kills and twelve digs, and Justin Lopez added 16 kills. Ramu Alagappan topped the Bull Dogs with 52 assists, and Aniket Ghatge and Ethan Santos tallied ten digs apiece. Noah Dornfeld had five blocks, and the Dogs got four each from Jake Roeder and Alagappan. The Bull Dogs (6-12) will be back on the court this evening when they host New Albany. JV (5-6) will get underway at 6:00 with varsity to follow.
