April 3, 2026 - After blasting five home runs and scoring 15 runs against Indy Living Waters Homeschool, the Bull Dogs just couldn’t find any offense against East Central on Thursday evening, falling 12-1. The Dogs jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first but once the Trojan bats got hot in the bottom of the third inning, they continued the rest of the game, scoring five runs in the third, four in the fourth, one in the fifth, and two more in the sixth to end the contest early. The Dogs had seven hits, while allowing 13 to East Central. Bailee Scruggs was the starting pitcher, allowing five runs on five hits in 2-⅔ innings. Payton Morris came on in relief in the third and allowed seven runs on eight hits. The two combined to four strikeouts and just one walk. The Bull Dogs will host Conference Indiana foe Southport for a varsity/JV doubleheader on Monday, April 6. The varsity game is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.
