March 30, 2026 - Fishers High School hosted a collection of many of the top boys volleyball programs around the state, and the Bull Dogs had a very competitive showing, winning one match and falling in three close matches. North lost 2-0 to Hamilton Southeastern (19-25, 15-25), but bounced back with a 2-0 victory over Fort Wayne Southside (26-24, 27-25). They closed the tournament with a pair of tough losses to McCutcheon (18-25, 25-19, 13-15) and finally to Lafayette High School from Kentucky (23-25, 19-25). The Bull Dogs were led by Leo Iorio with 42 kills for the tournament, and Justin Lopez added 27. Ethan Santos recorded 16 digs, while Iorio and Aniket Ghatge chipped in 12. Lopez and Iorio had six and five blocks, respectively for the weekend. North will travel to Shelbyville this evening for a varsity-only match, beginning at 6:00 pm. The JV team’s next match will be Thursday, April 2, when both the JV and varsity teams will travel to New Albany.
