March 26, 2026 - New head boys volleyball coach Austin Tafoya has seen his teams battle and compete in nearly every set of every match this season, but until Wednesday evening, they had been unable to break through into the victory column. A 3-0 sweep of the Pike Red Devils gave Tafoya his first varsity coaching victory and improved his squad’s record to 1-5 for the season. The Dogs won the first set 25-14 and the final two sets 25-20 following a 2-0 sweep by the JV team in their first match of the season. Senior Leo Iorio led North with 15 kills and seven digs. Justin Lopez added ten kills, and Gian Alvarez recorded 24 assists to help the Dogs to their first victory. Both teams will travel to Fishers High School on Saturday, March 28 to compete in the very competitive March Madness Invitational.
