March 24, 2026 - In a match moved from Columbus North to Greenwood on the day of the event due to transportation issues from Greenwood, the Bull Dogs built a 2-0 lead after two sets and appeared to be well on their way to their first victory of the young season. However, the Woodmen rallied to win the final three sets and steal a 3-2 victory from the Dogs. The Bull Dogs won the first set 25-21, and followed that up with a 25-23 victory in set two. Greenwood won the third and fourth sets 25-23 and 25-23, forcing a fifth-set tiebreaker. The Woodmen took the deciding set 15-13 to claim a 3-2 victory, sending the Bull Dogs to 0-5 for the season. North will chase its first victory of the season on Wednesday when they travel to Pike for a JV/varsity doubleheader, beginning at 6:00 pm.
