February 15, 2026 - Columbus North held a 31-27 lead over Evansville Reitz after three quarters at the Bedford North Lawrence Regional, but Reitz went on a big run early in the fourth quarter, outscoring the Dogs 29-14 in the final period to claim a 56-45 victory. The Bull Dogs ended their season with a 19-7 record and a sectional title. Kaylie Harmon (shown) had 14 points, seven rebounds, and three steals, while Avery Johnon added ten points and five rebounds. The Bull Dogs shot only four free throws for the game, while Reitz attempted 22, skewed a bit by the Dogs’ need to foul late in the game. The loss brought to an end not only to the season, but to the careers of North’s three seniors, Addy Wheatley, Kenna Conrad, and Miley McClellan.
