Seven Columbus North student athletes ink commitments to compete collegiately

February 4, 2026 - Seven Bull Dog seniors participated in the second of three collegiate signing ceremonies hosted by Columbus North Athletics on Wednesday, February 4. Kaitlyn Olivo signed to join the rowing team at Indiana University (Division 1), Jaedyn Greenlee will cheer at Taylor University (NAIA), Macario Mendez committed to Indiana Wesleyan University for football (NAIA), Bailee Scruggs will play softball at Taylor University (NAIA), Morgan Osborn signed to play volleyball at Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA), Jace Works will run cross country and track and field at Purdue University (Division 1), and Kenna Conrad committed to Hanover College (Division 3) to play women’s basketball. Each student athlete was presented by their program’s head coach or a member of the Columbus North Athletics Department, including Logan Haston (head football coach and assistant athletic director), who introduced Mendez as well as Olivo and Greenlee, TJ Jarvis (softball), Sarah Stair (girls volleyball), Rick Sluder (boys cross country and track and field), and Brett White (girls basketball). Friends, family, and teammates of each athlete were in attendance at the ceremony, at which athletic director Brian Lewis served as master of ceremonies. This ceremony brings the total number of signees from the Class of 2026 to twelve. There will be one additional signing ceremony for the Class of 2026 on April 15, 2026.
