February 1, 2026 - Columbus North finished fourth in the 13-team Jennings County Sectional on Saturday, January 31 and will advance five wrestlers to the Jeffersonville Regional on February 7. Franklin Community finished first with 267 points, followed by Columbus East (245.5), Switzerland County (128.5) and the Bull Dogs (116.5). Asher Ratliff (175) and Cohen Long (150) each finished second in their weight classes, and will join Servando Lozano (3rd at 285), Alexander Stahley (4th at 106), and Darrell Hicks (4th at 190) in next weekend’s regional tournament. Other Bull Dogs competing at the sectional tournament included James Brown (6th at 113), Sam Bosley (6th at 120), Emmanuel Barbosa (DNP at 126), Skyler Burns (5th at 144), James Scruggs (5th at 157), Eric Streeval (5th at 165), and Dylan Canas (DNP at 215).
