January 9, 2026 - The Columbus North girls swim and dive team won their third consecutive dual meet with a 104-72.5 victory over Bloomington North at Columbus North on Thursday, January 8, while the boys fell to the visiting Cougars 131-52. Top finishers for the Bull Dogs in the girls division included: 200 medley relay: Advika Badve, Cora Tegoning, Mridula Muthukumaran, Abigail Proffitt - 1st 200 free: Tregoning - 1st 200 individual medley: Muthukumaran - 1st 50 free: Brooklyn Pendleton - 5th 1m diving: Sophia Sandoval - 2nd 100 butterfly: Muthukumaran - 1st 100 free: Caroline Crawford - 2nd 500 free: Tregoning - 1st 200 free relay: Muthukumaran, Proffitt, Badve, Pendleton - 1st 100 backstroke: Crawford - 1st 100 breaststroke: Sanchita Ponnathpur - 3rrd 400 free relay: Tregoning, Crawford, Pendleton, Ell Maignan - 2nd Top Bull Dog finishers in the boys division included: 200 medley relay: Hudson Clock, Oliver Lifferth, Aarush Mahato, Eli McIntier - 2nd 200 free: Anand Neela - 4th 200 individual medley: Mahato - 3rd 50 free: McIntier - 3rd 1m diving: Dagan Kelffman - 1st 100 butterfly: Mahato - 1st 100 free: Lifferth - 4th 500 free: Eli Varchenko - 4th 200 free relay: Mahato, McIntier, Varchenko, Clock - 3rd 100 backstroke: HP Devaguptapu - 2nd 100 breaststroke: Isaac Niewedde - 3rd 400 free relay: McIntier, Varchenko, Neela, Clock - 3rd Both teams will compete in the Conference Indiana Championships on Saturday, January 10 in Terre Haute.
