Dogs finish with a win and two losses at Fishers Holiday Classic

January 3, 2026 - Fishers High School hosted one of the most competitive holiday basketball tournaments in the state on January 2 and 3 and Columbus North bounced back from two losses on the first day with a victory in their third and final game on Saturday. North fell to Evansville Bosse on Friday afternoon 67-55. Austin Perry paced the Bull Dogs with 22 points. The Dogs were clearly overmatched against Lawrence Central Friday evening, falling 80-44. Caleb Ferguson topped Bull Dog scoring with 20. The Dogs bounced back with a 72-59 victory on Saturday afternoon against Ft. Wayne Wayne High School, once again led in scoring by Ferguson (29) and Perry (25) to finish 1-2 for the tournament, earning 7th place, and improving to 6-4 for the season. The freshmen team will host Greensburg on Tuesday evening, beginning at 6:00 before all three teams will host Terre Haute North in a key Conference Indiana matchup on Friday, January 9.
