December 19, 2025 - Columbus North overcame an eleven point second half deficit at Columbus East on Friday night to tie the game at 41-41 at the end of regulation. The overtime period, however, went to the Olympians who prevailed 52-49 to cap off another Winter Rivalry Week. Caleb Ferguson had 17 points and Austin Perry had 16, but a couple of missed layups and a missed free throw in overtime doomed the Dogs. North was 20-for-26 from the free throw line for the game and connected on three three-point goals, but could not overcome the Olympians balanced offensive attack. Columbus East had three players score eleven points, and got nine and eight from two others. The Bull Dogs overcame double-digit deficits in each of the early games with the freshmen prevailing 49-41 and the JV coming out on top 54-46. The Bull Dogs will travel to Terre Haute South on Monday, December 22 to begin their Conference Indiana schedule. The freshman and JV games will tip off at 5:00 pm, with the varsity to follow the JV around 6:30.
