North uses huge second quarter to roll to victory over the Owls

December 17, 2025 - Columbus North girls basketball started the second quarter with a 10-0 run against Seymour on Tuesday evening in Memorial Gymnasium and exploded for a 21-4 advantage in that stanza en route to a 59-44 victory over the Owls. Kaylie Harmon had 17 points, Miley McClellan 14, and Ava Wilson added eleven as the Bull Dogs improved to 8-2 for the season. The JV pups started the evening with a 48-9 victory in the early game, led by Hadley Andresen’s ten points. North had nine different players score for the game as they improved to 9-1 for the season. Next up for the Bull Dogs will be a Winter Rivalry Week showdown with cross-town rival Columbus East on Thursday, December 18 at Columbus North. JV will tip off at 6:00 pm, with varsity to follow.
