Dogs rout Olympians in the pool

December 17, 2025 - The boys and girls swim teams kicked off Winter Rivalry Week on Tuesday evening in Columbus East’s pool and the Dogs prevailed in both the girls and boys divisions. The girls won every event, cruising to a 104-12 victory. Bull Dog event winners included: 200 medley relay: Advika Badve, Cora Tregoning, Sienna Isaac, Ell Maignan - 1st 200 free: Sanchia Ponnathpur - 1st 200 individual medley: Abigail Proffitt - 1st 50 free: Caroline Crawford - 1st 100 butterfly: Badve - 1st 100 free: Maignan - 1st 500 free: Mridula Muthukumaran - 1st 200 free relay: Brooklyn Pendleton, Crawford, Nandini Kondhare, Isaac - 1st 100 backstroke: Kanav Mehta - 1st 100 breaststroke: Crawford - 1st 400 free relay: Tregoning, Konhare, Muthukumarn, Proffitt - 1st The boys won their division 99-69 and had the following top performances: 200 medley relay: HP Devaguptapu, Oliver Lifferth, Aarhus Mahato, Eli McIntier - 1st 200 free: Devaguptapu - 3rd 200 individual medley: Aarush Mahato - 2nd 50 free; Eli Varchenko - 2nd 100 butterfly: Mahato - 2nd 100 free: Xavier Serrahima - 2nd 500 free: Varchenko - 2nd 200 free relay: 1st 100 backstroke: Hudson Clock - 2nd 100 breaststroke: Lifferth - 1st 400 free relay: McIntier, Varchenko, Clock, Luis Valerdi - 2nd Both teams will host Bedford North Lawrence on Saturday morning, beginning at 11:00 am.
