November 13, 2025 - Four Bull Dog seniors participated in the first of three collegiate signing ceremonies hosted by Columbus North Athletics on Wednesday, November 12. Denton Sluder signed to run cross country and track and field at Indiana State University (Division 1), Caleb Ferguson committed to Taylor University (NAIA) to play men’s basketball, Karen Dutro signed her commitment to Butler University (Division 1) to play volleyball, and Miley McClellan signed to play women’s basketball at Gannon University (Division 2). Each student athlete was presented by their program’s head coach, including Rick Sluder (boys cross country and track and field), Paul Ferguson (boys basketball), Allison White, representing head coach Sarah Stair (girls volleyball), and Brett White (girls basketball). Friends, family, and teammates of each athlete were in attendance at the ceremony, at which athletic director Brian Lewis served as master of ceremonies. There will be two additional signing ceremonies for the Class of 2026, one on February 4 and the final one on April 15, 2026.
