COLUMBUS, Ind. – Freshman Nathaly Munnicha carded a 2-over-par 38 on Tuesday (Sept. 12) to help the Columbus North girls golf team defeat Columbus East 160-191 on Senior Day at Harrison Lake Country Club.
Seniors Danbi Kim, Julia Luken and Molly Donnell were recognized for their four-year contributions to the program.
Kim shot a 39, Luken notched a 41 and junior Alexandria Munnicha and sophomore Annie Anders each posted a 42 as the Bull Dogs improved to 11-0 in two- and three-team matches.
Donnell tallied a 44, while freshman Yestika Nischol posted a 47 and sophomore Nicole Duncan had a 48.
Senior Lily Shelp paced the Olympians with a 45. Autumn Fateley added a 46, Lauren Steinwedel a 48 and Morgan Harrison a 52.
Columbus North completes its regular season at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 13) when it faces Greensburg at Greensburg Country Club. The postseason begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday (Sept. 16 in the Greensburg Sectional, also at Greensburg Country Club.
